The Foundation was established in order to receive, invest and manage the surplus assets of The Priestly Brotherhood of St. Andrew. The Foundation supports The Priestly Brotherhood of St. Andrew which provides Catholic priests, deacons, nuns and clergy of other religious denominations with a source of mutual spiritual support, encouragement and security in their spiritual ministries, in imitation of St. Andrew the Apostle. It also maintains a "Bethsaida", or retreat facility, in Clear Lake, Iowa, which includes a fully appointed Catholic chapel for the celebration of daily Mass and prayer during member gatherings.
