The Coalition to Support Iowa's Farmers is a trusted and valuable resource for farm families who raise livestock. The primary purpose of CSIF is to offer educational resources and expertise to help livestock farmers grow their farms responsively and successfully. Since its launch in 2014, CSIF has provided direct assistance to more than 4,600 farm families. CSIF's services include one-on-one assistance to farm families as well as web-based resources and educational seminars that provide information on regulatory compliance and neighbor relations issues. Thousands of visitors access the CSIF website annually to access timely and important information regarding livestock farming and agriculture. The Coalition, via strategic media relationships and public relations efforts, also works to enhance the public's awareness, understanding and trust of livestock farming in Iowa. Finally, CSIF's successful efforts have served as a catalyst for the creation of other Coalitions created in New York, Nebraska and South Dakota.
