Operation of critical access hospital
Cloud County Health Center had a total of 364 discharges and 2,083 paitent days. The hospital had a total of 214 surgeries, 2,801 ED visits, and 18,462 OP vists, and the Family Care Clinic had over 15,500 visits. In addition to providing inpatient and outpatient services, the hospital provides lab, imaging and pharmacy services. The Lab does approx. 50,000 tests annually. Imaging services performed approximately 7,000 exams during the year, including General X-Ray, Echo Cardiograms, MRI, Cat Scan, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Bone Density and Mammography services. Lab, Imaging and pharmacy services are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The clinic also extended its hours of operations an extra hour from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
