Pregnancy, parenting and adoption services give young mothers the support and incentives they need to become self-sufficient and nurturing parents, or to create an adoption plan. The adoption process is the start of a life-long relationship between birth parents adoptive parents and a child.There were 33 inquiries regarding infant adoption, 6 families prepared for adoption, and 1 infants placed with adoptive parents.
Family strengthening programs provide relationship and marriage education classes to help individuals and couples learn relationship-building skills that benefit both themselves and others. Also, counseling for addiction or relapse prevention helps individuals and families develop habits and behaviors for happier success in all areas of life.
Family sustaining programs strive to connect individuals and families with resources such as housing, utilities, food, and other essential supplies to meet their basic needs. 83 people were accepted into the housing program (44 adults, 39 children and 38 households). 88% of participants achieved permanent housing. Staff facilitated 15 life skills classes with 24 people attending. The Organization sponsored fingerprints for 30 unaccompanied minor children. Immigration services provided 466 individuals with services that included consultations, naturalization applications, applications for relative visas, relative petitions and DACA assistance.
