Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Western Kansas Manufacturers Association is an organization of progressive manufacturers who have banded together to promote, advance, and make known what is happening in the field of manufacturing in Western Kansas. By working within their own realm of manufacturing they strive to introduce and implement new advances into the ever changing field of agricultural technology.
To promote the general welfare of the manufacturing interests of Western Kansas; to educate the public regarding the manufacturing interests of Western Kansas, and their products; to acquaint members with each other and with their products and operations; to attract, advise, and assist other manufacturers who may wish to locate in Western Kansas; to promote and develop production, distribution and marketing and such other fields as may advance the interests of the manufacturing industry; to conduct trade promotion activities including advertising and publicity and advance distribution channels and methods; to advance lawful and fair trade practices, customs, and usages; and to foster and promote better understanding between employer and employee.
Holding of annual 3i show with 196 vendors participating. This establishes a central location where manufacturers come, display and demonstrate their products, thereby acquainting them with other manufacturers and their products, farmers who use their products, and the general public.
