Personal Assistant Service Systems - provides business management services for eligible persons with disabilities desiring to direct their own personal care attendant services under the Kansas Medicaid HCBS Waiver Program. Business management includes: preparation of semi-monthly paychecks; filing of related payroll returns and W-2's, filing taxes including unemployment insurance and worker's compensation coverage.
Transportation Services - To provide transportation services for the general public through 6 lift-equipped vehicles, providing as many as 900 rides per month.
Independent Living Services - To provide information and referral services for people with disabilities to access community resources. To provide both individual and systems advocacy services related to civil rights laws affecting people with disabilities. The Organization also provides training on independent living skills such as cooking and budgeting as well as providing peer support which includes matching and training people with disabilities to counsel other people with disabilities and facilitating support groups. The Organization also strives to deinstitutionalize their patrons by assisting the individuals to move out of nursing homes and live independently within their communities.
