Supporting Kids Foundation (SKF) is an all-volunteer organization of twelve (12) board members and approximately fifty (50) general volunteers who all volunteer time and talents to host annual fundraising events. Funds from these events are given to families in need to cover day-to-day expenses so they can focus on their child's health, rather than their financial shortfalls. In 2019, SKF provided $354,198 in assistance to 116 families. SKF also provided $14,472 in supplies to the parent and teen room at Children's Mercy Hospital. These supplies included food, beverages, and other personal and comfort items to make family members' time spent at hospital with a child with cancer more bearable. Since its inception in 2010, SKF has provided over $1,656,207 in assistance to 516 families.
