Pregnancy education and counseling
Advice & Aid Pregnancy Centers provides limited medical services as well as education to families facing an unplanned pregnancy at no charge. Some of the services include pregnancy testing, sonograms, STD/STI testing and treatment, post-abortion follow up, abortion pill reversal, peer counseling, and educational programs. In 2019 our staff served 1,031 individuals at 3,306 visits. Our team performed 831 pregnancy tests. 582 people were tested for STD/STIs and 53 received treatment. Our medical professionals performed 748 sonograms for the purpose of determining the development of the pregnancy. Eight women came in for post-abortion follow up. We treated six individuals in the hope of reversing the effects of the first abortion pill and two successfully continued their pregnancies. We had about 206 individuals participate in our education programs.
