Heartland International Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit that empowers people internationally to improve their lives and communities by sharing the Gospel and supporting humanitarian works, education programs and livelihood projects.
Our first priority is to communicate personally, or in print, the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ. We provide mentoring, consulting, planning and brainstorming for individuals, churches, schools and mission agencies to enhance their spiritual goals. As an interdenominational organization, we create and provide resources, services and programs for many people and situations. We provide counsel, accountability, logistics and leadership for humanitarian work and emergency teams in response to crisis circumstances nationally or internationally. We help church groups and local volunteers facilitate cross-cultural mission teams.
The positive and practical influence of H.I.M. has continued to increase yearly as the ripples continue from the long term relationships and the investments made over the past 19 years. Although it is nearly impossible to measure the amount of training, discipleship, educating, encouragement, networking and ministering that takes place daily, H.I.M. continues to expand with staff and partners who directly influence thousands of people around the world. Over 1,762 orphans/children in over 65 schools and orphanages are directly helped, primarily in India, Pakistan and Nicaragua. New vehicles, scooters, motorcycles and bicycles have been provided to many, enabling them to reach, help and minister to thousands in very rural areas, who would otherwise be unreached. Over 180,000 people are helped in practical ways through education, supplies and weekly programs in more than 1,500 churches, home groups or mission centers. H.I.M. has also partnered with other organizations to meet the needs of those in undeveloped or underserved areas of the world or those needing disaster relief. For example, to meet the physical needs, many items such as medical, hygiene and dental supplies and hundreds of water filters have been distributed. H.I.M. also funded several building projects.
