The Trust was created and is operated exclusively for the literary and educational purposes which benefit the Overbrook, Kansas community by providing financial assistance to the public library of Overbrook, Kansas.
THE ENDOWMENT PORTION REPRESENTS 25% OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE TRUST. THE INCOME FROM THE ENDOWMENT PORTION IS DISTRIBUTED SEMI-ANNUALLY TO THE OVERBROOK PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD FOR USE IN ITS OPERATING BUDGET.
