Organizations Filed Purposes:
An organization that strives to grow spiritually by offering person- to-person services to individuals in need within the Wichita, Kansas and surrounding areas.
The Conferences do home visits to individuals who call their Parish requesting assistance for rent, utilities, food, medicine and other items as necessary. A determination is made as to the amount of assistance that can be provided on a case-by-case basis.
Backpacks 4 Kids program provides weekend meals to food deprived students. Each school determines which students need food and if any siblings in the house need food. The food is purchased at a low cost from our local food bank.
Meals on Wheels program assist the Senior Center with the purchase and distribution of food for low income and individuals with mobility or transporation problems. Because of their situation they are not able to provide food for themselves.
