Organizations Filed Purposes: TO PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES TO HELP THEM PROSPER AND BECOME CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. YEF IS THE SOLE MEMBER OF THREE SUBORDINATE CHAPTER ORGANIZATIONS, WHICH ARE DEVOTED TO SERVING THE YE MISSION. YEF SUPPORTS THESE CHAPTERS FROM OPERATIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSPECTIVES AS WELL AS PROVIDES GRANTS DEPENDENT UPON FUNDING NEEDS.

ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS.

COURSE INSTRUCTION: EFFORTS AIMED AT GAINING NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE TO FURTHER DEVELOP AND EXPAND COURSE CURRICULUM FOR YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS. PRIMARY GOALS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2016/2017 WERE FOCUSED TOWARDS CONTENT CREATION AND BUILDING AN ONLINE PLATFORM TO USE AS THE MEDIUM OF DELIVERY TO ALL EDUCATORS. IN ADDITION, TAUGHT A LICENSED PROGRAM IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT 15 HIGH SCHOOL SITES AND 2 NON-TRADITIONAL CLASSROOMS. MORE THAN 325 STUDENTS WERE SERVED IN THE PROGRAM DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. THE CLASSES WERE TAUGHT BY 21 INSTRUCTORS, TEACHING 21 SEPARATE CLASSES IN 4 SEPARATE SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN THE STATES OF ARIZONA, KENTUCKY, AND MICHIGAN.

GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS: A TOTAL OF 8 GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO STUDENTS FROM THE YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS FOUNDATION (YEF) PROGRAM. A GRANT WAS MADE TO A CHAPTER ORGANIZATION IN SUPPORT OF ITS REGIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING COURSE INSTRUCTION, GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS AND GRADUATES, AND GRADUATE SERVICES. IN ADDITION, TO STREAMLINE OPERATIONS AND DELIVER PROGRAMS AS EFFICIENTLY AND COST EFFECTIVELY AS POSSIBLE, A LEGAL ENTITY RESTRUCTURE WAS EXECUTED. EFFECTIVE MAY 31, 2017, YEF GRANTED ITS NET ASSETS TO YOUTH ENTREPRENERUS, INC. (YE) AND YE ASSUMED THE OPERATIONS OF YEF. YEF WAS THEN IMMEDIATELY DISSOLVED.

ALUMNI & OTHER STUDENT SERVICES (OUTSIDE OF CLASSROOM): EFFORTS AIMED AT GAINING NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE TO FURTHER DEVELOP AND EXPAND GRADUATE SERVICES FOR YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS. GRADUATES AND CURRENT STUDENTS OF THE YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS PROGRAM ARE OFFERED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES THAT ALLOW THEM THE ABILITY TO EXPAND THEIR CAREERS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION. THESE OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE COLLABORATIONS WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES, BOOK CLUBS, ECONOMIC ACADEMIES, NETWORKING EVENTS, COLLEGE CAMPUS TOURS, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS, AMONG OTHERS. THROUGH THESE OPPORTUNITIES, PARTICIPANTS LEARN BUSINESS SKILLS THAT PREPARE THEM FOR SUCCESS IN BUSINESS AND OTHER FUTURE CAREER AND EDUCATION ENDEAVORS.
