HEALING REINS OF KENTUCKY, INC. CONDUCTED SEVERAL PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT 2020 THAT BENEFITED NUMEROUS INDIVIDUALS THROUGH VARIOUS INTERACTIONS WITH HORSES. THERAPEUTIC RIDING CONTINUED TO BE THE LARGEST PROGRAM OFFERRED TO CLIENTS. DURING 2020, APPROXIMATELY 302 LESSONS WERE PROVIDED TO 40 INDIVIDUALS. HEALING REINS CONDUCTED THEIR "READING WITH ROCKY" PROGRAM DURING 2020, BUT WERE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE PROGRAM WITH FARM VISITS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. THIS EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING ACTIVITY BENNEFITED 250 AREA 1ST GRADE STUDENTS FROM 5 SCHOOLS BY ENCOURAGING THEM TO READ THROUGH INTERACTIONS WITH MINI HORSES IN THE CLASSROOM. DURINNG 2020, HEALING REINS PROVIDED EQUINE ASSISTED SERVICES TO VETERANS. SOME OF THE SERVICES OFFERRED WERE FAMILY DAYS AND RIDING LESSON. 25 VETERANS PARTICIPATED IN THESE SERVICES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
