Saint Joseph - Mount Sterling Foundation, Inc. was previously part of Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation, Inc. However, during fiscal year 2010 the foundation was granted a separate FEIN number and operations began separately. The mission of the foundation is to raise and administer funds in support of the core values and strategic plan of Saint Joseph Mount Sterling. The foundation's current 10-member board of directors raises funds through special events, annual giving, and corporate/foundation grants to help fund the programs and outreach services of Saint Joseph - Mount Sterling. During fiscal year 2019, the foundation raised over $40,000 for the mission and outreach services and paid out over $42,000 for program support.
