WIG advances the effectiveness of women in public office by providing non-partisan policy driven education, in-depth leadership training, and coalition-building networking opportunities to all women state legislators nationwide. WIG events, such as their national conferences, healthcare summit, single-issue learning exchanges, and state policy briefings bring together women state legislators and field experts to engage on a wide variety of pressing topics while their future women in government program connects current and future women leaders in a one-on-one mentorship. WIG also produces and disseminates resources including toolkits, podcasts, public service announcements that both feature and foster the impact elected women have on public policy.
