The coronavirus pandemic prevented Honor Flight Bluegrass from transporting veterans to DC in 2020. In lieu of the normal flights, efforts were made to recognize and honor the service of the veterans through special drive-by celebrations, mailing of holiday cards and other correspondence to stay in touch, and wish-granting such as safely provided rides on a WWII B-25 bomber.
