Leadership Louisville: Leadership Louisville is a 10-month program designed for experienced leaders who are ready to make a positive impact on the community. Through hands-on experiences, participants fully explore local government, education, economic development and the arts. Immersion in how Louisville actually runs gives the participants a broader and deeper perspective on the city and their role in the community. Participants meet with fellow community leaders, establish connections and expand their circle of influence. The program provides participants with foundations to build a strong local network, deepening individual connections to the community and making more committed leaders. There were 58 participants in the current year.
Foundation Events: The Leadership Louisville Center is a nonprofit, member-oriented resource whose mission is to grow and connect a diverse network of leaders who serve as catalysts for a world-class community. Program graduates can participate through membership, 100 Wise Women breakfast series, Thought Leadership Series, the annual Leadership Louisville Luncheon and other member events. In the current year, there were four breakfasts and one luncheon which were attended by 2,500 alumni.
Ignite Louisville: Ignite Louisville is a 7-month program that provides emerging leaders with the skills, confidence, problem-solving abilities and connections essential to professional success. Participants gain hands-on experience in civic leadership and working effectively as a team through the service-learning project. There were 88 participants in the current year.
