YTF Academy is YTFs flagship program and forms the foundation of all our work. It is broken out into four programs TechKids, TechTeens, TechCommunities and TechEnhancement and are tailored to suit the needs of different age groups 8 to 25 in each community. Each aims to support the successful transition of kids returning to school and those advancing to primary or secondary school, university, and on to employment. YTF Academy programs range from basic digital literacy to mobile/software application development to emerging and disruptive technologies like 3D printing. 80 of scholarships for YTF Academy are awarded to girls. YTF Auxiliarry Programs are programs that are 100 supported by the private sector and/or foundations. YTF co-develops the programs working with the local community members and which use technology to solve concrete needs and realities in their communities. Auxiliary programs include 3D Africa, 3D Printing Academy for Girls, Women Entrepreneurs and Mobile Value Added Services, Mobile Financial Services for Women, PeaceOpoly, Agric-P.O.W.E.R. and 3D Printing Freedom from Human Trafficking, all of which were running in 2016. Countries of Implemenation Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, United States. 2016 impact 4,400.
