Organizations Filed Purposes:
TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTIVE ACTIVITIES FOR RETIRED MEN AND TO DEVELOP SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND DEVELOP MUTUAL INTERESTS.
PROVIDE SOCIAL ACTIVITIES TO RETIRED MEN (APPROX 350 MEMBERS). PROGRAM ACTIVITIES INCLUDE TRIPS, GOLF, BOWLING AND DANCES. THE RETIRED MENS CLUB ALSO PROVIDES FOR A MEETING HALL WHERE RETIRED MEN CAN SOCIALIZE.
PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO ATTEND COLLEGE. THE RETIRED MENS CLUB MAKES THE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS. EACH HIGH SCHOOL SETS THE CRITERIA FOR WHO IS ELLIGIBLE FOR A SCHOLARSHIP. IN FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30,2020 THE RETIRED MENS CLUB GRANTED TWO (2) $1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES.
CONTRIBUTIONS TO VARIOUS PUBLIC QUALIFIED 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. IN FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2020 THE RETIRED MENS CLUB MADE CONTRIBUTIONS TO SIX DIFFERENT 501(C)(3) CHARITIES, INCLUDING $500 TO THE ARLINGTON CONCIL ON AGING.
