Organizations Filed Purposes:
To operate a thrift shop and donate the net profits to cancer research and charities.
We accept and sell previously-owned items. The items are sold in our volunteer-run shop. All proceeds, net of operating expenses, are sent directly to charitable organizations devoted to cancer research and cancer patient wellness. As the shop continued to grow and prosper, our revenue remained positively stable. This provided us with the opportunity to donate to multiple cancer charities for a second consecutive year. In 2019, our service revenue totaled $ 120,807. This continued, strong revenue amount provided us the opportunity to again donate to multiple cancer charitable organizations including $ 45,000 to Dana Farber Cancer Institute and $ 31,000 to Cape Wellness Collaborative. As a result, we continued to fulfill our mission, "To operate a thrift shop and donate the net profits to cancer research and charities". Dana Farber, has provided us with the opportunity to further and enhance our mission as stated in our By-Laws, "To operate a thrift shop and donate the net profits to cancer research and charities".
