Organizations Filed Purposes:
Mission is to benefit our communities & members hrough activities such as Child Identification programs scholarships and other programs at no cost to community. We provide CPR AED training and sponsor a local Boy Scout Troop. Members benefit from leadership experience through membership.
Our largest service program is to provide scholarships to qualified high school and college students to help defray educational expenses. This year we awarded $8,250 in scholarships to 10 students of which $7,250 were cashed during this Masonic Year. In addition $2,900 from last year were cashed for a total of $11,660.
Contributions this year were to: Bedford Babe Ruth Baseball; Boy Scout Troop 114; Danny Oates Memorial Scholarship Road Race; Child Identification Programs (CHIP); Bedford Elementary School BEST PTO; Loaves & Fishes; Angle Foundation; Y2Y Network Homeless Shelter; George Washington Masonic Memorial; Bedford Food Bank; Dana Farber Cancer Institute; Fisher House Foundation for Vetrans and families; Friends of the Bedford Free Library; Grand Lodge Masonic Brotherhood Fund; Relief to distressed individuals We contributed $7,598 but $500 had not been cashed by the end of our Masonic Year.
We provide Fruit baskets or Maple Syrup to Widows of members who have passed away along with a personal visit to keep in touch with these people and to offer any help that they may continue to need.
