FSG'S CONSULTANTS WORK IN TEAMS TO ASSIST LEADING FOUNDATIONS, CORPORATIONS AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN DEVELOPING STRATEGIES TO MEASURE AND ACHIEVE SOCIAL IMPACT. IN ADDITION, FSG HAS CONTRIBUTED TO BUILDING THE KNOWLEDGE, TOOLS AND BEST PRACTICES THAT CAN INCREASE PHILANTHROPIC EFFECTIVENESS THROUGH RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS, ON-LINE DATABASES, CONFERENCES AND PRESENTATIONS, AND THE PUBLICATION OF ORIGINAL ARTICLES IN JOURNALS SUCH AS THE "HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW AND "STANFORD SOCIAL INNOVATION REVIEW".

THE EDUCATION & YOUTH PRACTICE WORKED ON 30 PROJECTS IN 2019, IN AREAS SPANNING THE CRADLE TO CAREER CONTINUUM. PROJECTS INCLUDED A STRATEGIC PLAN FOR AN NGO FOCUSED ON INFLUENCING POLICYMAKERS, FUNDERS, AND PRACTITIONERS SUPPORTING YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION; A STRATEGY AND IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR AN NGO FOCUSED ON SUPPORTING FIRST GENERATION COLLEGE ATTENDEES LOOKING TO EXTEND ITS REACH; DEVELOPING STRATEGIC AND IMPLEMENTATION PLANS FOR SEVERAL FOUNDATIONS' EDUCATION PROGRAM AREAS; AND BUILDING EDUCATIONAL LEADER CAPACITY AS PART OF A COLLABORATIVE GRANTEE LEARNING NETWORK.
THE US HEALTH PRACTICE WORKED ON OVER 30 PROJECTS IN 2019, INCLUDING COLLABORATIVE WORK IN COMMUNITIES ON SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH, WITH BIOPHARMA AND HEALTH CARE COMPANIES, AND ON ISSUES LIKE SUBSTANCE USE AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH. EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS INCLUDE DEVELOPING AN ASSESSMENT FRAMEWORK FOR A FOUNDATION ON MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE USE, DEVELOPING A TOOLKIT AND PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO GRANTEES ON SUSTAINING AND SCALING HEALTH EQUITY IMPACT, DEVELOPING A BUSINESS CASE FOR EMPLOYERS TO INVEST IN REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH SUPPORTS, ADVISING MULTIPLE BIOPHARMA COMPANIES ON THEIR CORPORATE GIVING AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY STRATEGIES, AND SUPPORTING LOCALLY BASED COLLECTIVE IMPACT STRATEGIES THAT EMPHASIZE SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH.
