WHOLE GRAIN SAMPLING DAY IN MARCH 2020 WAS DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS WHOLE GRAIN SAMPLING DAYS BECAUSE IN PERSON SAMPLING WERE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID, BUT 136 LOCATIONS SIGNED UP FOR MATCHMAKING BEFORE THE PANDEMIC. IN ADDITION, THE WGC CONTINUALLY PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES ABOUT WHOLE GRAINS - SCIENTIFIC, PRACTICAL, CULINARY AND NUTRITIONAL - IN ORDER TO HELP CONSUMERS FIND, COOK AND CONSUME WHOLE GRAINS. THE WGC ALSO CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE MISSION AND MEMBERS BY WORKING CLOSELY WITH REGULATORS AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS. OLDWAYS SUBMITTED OFFICIAL COMMENTS TO BRAZIL'S ANVISA, THE MEXICAN MINISTRY OF ECONOMY AND THE USDA FNS.
OLDWAYS CULINARIAS: OLDWAYS ORGANIZED ONE CULINARIA IN FY 2020: CYPRUS IN NOVEMBER 2019. UNFORTUNATELY, THE PORTUGAL CULINARIA, ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 2020 WAS POSTPONED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
