Organizations Filed Purposes: World T.E.A.M changes lives through sports. For more than 25 years, we have used athletics to challenge disabled men, women and children to accomplish goals they never thought possible. In all our events whether mountain climbing, cycling, white water rafting or many other sports we include both disabled and able-bodied participants.

World T.E.A.M. brings adaptive and able-bodied athletes together by empowering, enabling and engaging individuals through inclusive athletic events. We believe The Exceptional Athlete Matters.

Face of America: Gettysburg - Each year World T.E.A.M. organizes this two-day 112-mile bike ride from the Pentagon to the battlefields of Gettysburg, PA. The Face of America program is focused on our injured veteran population, with many of the participants still undergoing some form of rehabilitation in various hospitals around the country. As in all of our programs, participants with injuries and disabilities are paired with able-bodied riders to work together and navigate the hilly and challenging terrain that exists between Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland and Pennsylvania.Face of America: Liberty - World T.E.A.M. hosted this single day 56-mile bike ride to the United States Military Academy at West Point from Sleepy Hollow, NY. As part of our Military Initiative, this event is focused on our injured veteran population, with many of the riders still undergoing some form of rehabilitation in various hospitals around the country. As in all of our programs, participants with injuries and disabilities are paired with able-bodied riders to ride together.

EverWalk Initiative: Started by endurance maverick Diana Nyad, Everwalk is an initiative within World T.E.A.M. aimed to inspire a million people to rocket the current walking wave into a tsunami. Get up. Get out into the magnificent outdoors. Leave your screens. Talk with each other. Discover your town. Adventure through new corridors. Let the vast blue sky galvanize you to dream. Lets together turn America into an EverWalk NATION.

Adventure T.E.A.M. Challenge - Colorado: World T.E.A.M.s annual Adventure TEAM Challenge brings together disabled and able-bodied athletes for two days of competition in the wilderness of Colorado. Debuting in 2007, the ATC inspires and challenges athletes of all abilities. Each team in the Challenge consists of five members, including two with disabilities, with one of these requiring the use of an off-road handcycle. The event requires that competitors work together and use each others strengths to accomplish shared goals and rewards. This years event took place in the Rancho Del Rio area in Bond, Colorado and included hiking, mountain biking, rafting, rock climbing, rappelling and orienteering. Teams compete against the clock and each other, but to finish all stages of the event is an accomplishment unto itself.
