THE SEASON WAS COMPRISED OF WORKS OF LITERARY, EXPERIMENTAL OR OTHERWISE EDUCATIONAL VALUE, WHICH ARE SELECTED FOR THEIR PERCEIVED CAPACITY TO FURTHER THE A.R.T.'S MISSION TO EXPAND THE BOUNDARIES OF THEATRE BY EXPLORING THE BEST PLAYS FROM ACROSS CULTURES AND AGES. UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT THEATRICAL PLAYS, PRODUCTIONS AND ACTIVITY, INCLUDING 11 PERFORMANCES OF 2 PRODUCTIONS TO AUDIENCES OF 794 IN TWO CAMPUS VENUES AS WELL AS THE INCREMENTAL TEACHING EXPENSE FOR ACADEMIC THEATRE COURSES IN HARVARD UNIVERSITY'S FACULTY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES, EXTENSION AND SUMMER SCHOOLS. EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH INCLUDED 72 CHILDREN ENROLLED IN A.R.T. KIDS COMPANY CLASSES, 11 DAYS OF OFF-SITE PROGRAMMING (INCLUDING WORKSHOPS, RESIDENCIES, AND ARTIST VISITS), ENGAGED 24 INTERNS, REACHED MORE THAN 6,949 STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS FROM OVER 56 SCHOOLS AND 74 COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
