ACCOUNTABILITY & FEEDBACK LOOPS (AFL) F/K/A THE LISTENING PROGRAM (LP) - THIS PROGRAM HELPS POLICY MAKERS, PRACTITIONERS, AND ORGANIZATIONS IMPROVE THE QUALITY, EFFECTIVENESS AND ACCOUNTABILITY OF HUMANITARIAN, DEVELOPMENT AND PEACEBUILDING PROGRAMS THROUGH BETTER TOOLS FOR JOINT ANALYSIS, PARTICIPATORY PROGRAM DESIGN FEEDBACK LOOPS AND LISTENING AND ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISMS. CDA'S LISTENING METHODOLOGY FEATURES OPEN-ENDED CONVERSATIONS WITH PEOPLE IN RECIPIENT COMMUNITIES ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCES WITH AND ANALYSIS OF THE CUMULATIVE IMPACTS OF INTERNATIONAL AID EFFORTS IN THEIR COMMUNITITES. PEACEBUILDING EFFECTIVENESS (PE) F/K/A THE REFLECTING ON PEACE PRACTICE PROGRAM (RPP) AND THE DO NOT HARM PROGRAM (DNH) - THESE PROGRAMS HELP PEACE PRACTITIONERS, AND ORGANIZATIONS IMPROVE THE RELEVANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY OF PROGRAMMING THROUGH BETTER TOOLS FOR CONFLICT ANALYSIS, PROGRAM STRATEGY, DESIGN, AND ASSESSMNT. CDA ALSO CONTRIBUTES TO INFLUENTIAL POLICY GUIDANCE AND THE APPLICATION OF SYSTEM THINKING TO CONFLICT ANALYSIS, PROGRAM DESIGN AND EVALUATION. IN THE AREA OF CONFLICT SENSITIVITY, CDA'S DO NOT HARM CONCEPTIUAL FRAMEWORKS AND PRACTICE TOOLS FOCUS ON HOW ORGANIZATIONS INTERACT WITH CONFLICT AND HOW THEY CAN WORK EFFECTIVELY IN CONFLICT CONTEXTS, WHILE HELPING TO MITIGATE THEIR NEGATIVE IMPACTS ON CONFLICT AND SUPPORT LOCAL CAPACITIES FOR PEACE.
