Organizations Filed Purposes: TO PROMOTE THE FINANCIAL WELL-BEING OF BOSTON COLLEGIATE CHARTER SCHOOL, BY SOLICITING, RECEIVING AND ADMINISTERING FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A PERMANENT HOME FOR THE SCHOOL.

TO BENEFIT BOSTON COLLEGIATE CHARTER SCHOOL (THE SCHOOL), A MASSACHUSETTS CHARTER SCHOOLIN PARTICULAR TO: 1.PROVIDE SERVICES TO, MANAGE FUNDS AND OTHER ASSETS FOR, AND OTHERWISE SUPPORT THE FUNCTIONS OF AND/OR TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF THE SCHOOL;2.OWN, ACQUIRE, LEASE AND/OR MAINTAIN REAL ESTATE FOR THE SCHOOL'S OPERATIONS3.PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND SERVICES FOR THE SCHOOL.

THE BOSTON COLLEGIATE CHARTER SCHOOL FOUNDATION SUPPORTS BOSTON COLLEGIATE CHARTER SCHOOL (BCCS) BY PROVIDING PHILANTHROPIC FUNDING, FACILITIES, AND LEADERSHIP. THE RANGE OF PHILANTHROPIC SUPPORT INCLUDES UNRESTRICTED FUNDING AS WELL AS OFFSET FOR PROGRAMMATIC AND CAPITAL EXPENSES. IN FY19, PROGRAMMATIC CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE BOSTON COLLEGIATE CHARTER SCHOOL FOUNDATION TO BCCS AIDED PROGRAMS OUTSIDE OF THE SCHOOL'S CORE ACADEMIC PROGRAMMING, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ITS ROBUST ALUMNI PROGRAMMING; SUMMER ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING A ROBOTICS CAMP AND SUMMER REMEDIATION; A COMPREHENSIVE IN- AND OUT-OF-SCHOOL ARTS PROGRAM; AND THE STUDENTS IN NEED PROGRAM, WHICH ENABLES BCCS TO PROVIDE BASIC NEEDS-SUCH AS WINTER COATS, MEALS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES-TO STUDENTS AND FAMILIES WHO MAY BE STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY. WITH BCCS'S ONGOING CAPACITY TO LEAD CAPITAL CAMPAIGN, FY19 WAS ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT YEAR FOR THE FOUNDATION'S CAPITAL FUNDRAISING EFFORTS TO SUPPORT THE EXPANSION OF BCCS'S UPPER SCHOOL CAMPUS EXPANSION. THE CAPITAL EXPANSION INCLUDED THE ADDITION OF 13 NEW CLASSROOMS, 11 SMALL GROUP BREAKOUT SPACES, A NEW COLLEGE AND CAREER COUNSELING SUITE, AND THE SCHOOL'S FIRST MULTIPURPOSE LUNCH ROOM AND CONVENING SPACE.THE BOSTON COLLEGIATE CHARTER SCHOOL FOUNDATION EXISTS TO HELP BCCS ITS MISSION OF PREPARING EACH STUDENT FOR COLLEGE. NOW SERVING A DIVERSE STUDENT BODY OF 700 STUDENTS WHO HAIL FROM EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD OF BOSTON, BCCS IS PROUD OF THE OUTCOMES ACHIEVED DURING FY19, INCLUDING:FOR THE FIFTEENTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR, 100% OF BCCS GRADUATING SENIORS EARNED ACCEPTANCE TO A FOUR-YEAR COLLEGE;95% OF BCCS 10TH GRADE STUDENTS EARNED ADVANCED OR PROFICIENT ON THE ELA MCAS EXAM AND 92% OF BCCS 10TH GRADE STUDENTS EARNED ADVANCED OR PROFICIENT ON THE MATH MCAS EXAM.100% OF RESPONDENTS FROM THE CLASS OF 2017 ALUMNI SURVEY REPORTED THAT THEY WERE EITHER "PREPARED OR "OVER-PREPARED" FOR COLLEGE-LEVEL ACADEMICS.MEMBERS OF THE BCCS CLASS OF 2019 EARNED ADMITTANCE TO BOSTON COLLEGE, NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY, SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY, TUFTS UNIVERSITY, AS WELL AS EVERY SCHOOL WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS STATE SCHOOL SYSTEM;A TOTAL OF 222 ADVANCED PLACEMENTS (AP) EXAMS WERE TAKEN, THE MOST IN BCCS HISTORY. 83% OF BCCS STUDENTS WHO TOOK THE AP ENGLISH LANGUAGE EXAM RECEIVED A SCORE OF 3 OR HIGHER EARNING THEM COLLEGE CREDIT.
