Hope Floats is a bereavement and educational center for adults, children, teens, and their families who are grieving, dealing with illness, or facing other life challenges. Our free support services bring hope and healing to those in need.
Our mission is to help people cope with loss, support their healing,and nurture their physical and emotional well-being.
During 2019: 1. Hope Floats offered free bereavement groups to adults, children teens and their families including; Mike's Club support group for children, teens and their families who have lost a parent/caregiver or sibling; child loss, including overdose loss, suicide loss, parent/sibling loss, and partner/spouse loss support groups for adults. 2.Hope Floats also offered several day-long support retreats for parents grieving the loss of a child, and retreats for individuals dealing with cancer, and for caregivers. 3. Hope Floats offered guest speaker events on the topic of grief and loss for adults. 4. Hope Floats also provided classes and treatments including yoga, tai chi, wellness days, and workshops.
