THE LEOMINSTER HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS A PRIVATE, NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION CONSISTING OF DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS WHO ASSIST THE PUBLIC IN LEARNING ABOUT LEOMINSTER'S PAST, AND A DUES-PAYING MEMBERSHIP WHO ENJOY HISTORY IN GENERAL, AND THE CITY'S HISTORY IN PARTICULAR. FOUNDED IN 1906, THE SOCIETY PERSEVES AND PRESENTS ITEMS, ARTICLES, EPHEMERA, FAMILY RECORDS, AND HISTORICAL PUBLICATIONS, ALLOWING THE PUBLIC ACCESS TO MOST OF THESE ITEMS.THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS LOCATED AT THE OLD BRICK SCHOOLHOUSE, FORMERLY THE FIELD SCHOOL, AT 17 SCHOOL STREET, LOEMINSTER, MASSACHUSETTS. WE WELCOME COMMUNITY USE OF THE SOCIETY'S RESOURCES FOR RESEARCH, AND ALL ARE WELCOME TO VIEW THE EXHIBITS AT THE SOCIETY MUSEUM.
