Organizations Filed Purposes:
MMAS provides a cultural home for artists, audiences, and aspiring performers of all ages. At our core is a rich schedule of theater productions, performing-arts education, art exhibits and live entertainment. The synergy of these offerings honors individual artistic interests.
Theatrical and musical productions, arts festivals and year-round educational programs in theater, gallery for local artists, and fine arts for residents of Southeastern Massachusetts. MMAS produced 9 plays with 84 performances and also held 25 separate concerts, comedy nights, art shows and other events which together attracted over 6,500 attendees. MMAS expanded its educational programs in 2019 to include 45 separate program offerings which attracted over 300 students. Over 5,000 volunteer hours were donated during the year, in addition to the actors, to enhance theater experience and to assist in administration of the organization.
