The mission of Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and Pantry is to feed and nurture those in need throughout the Chicopee, Massachusetts community. We provide our services in humility, while offering respect, dignity, and justice to all whom we encounter.
Soup Kitchen and Pantry Service
With a small dedicated staff and many volunteers, Lorraine's Soup Kitchen serves over 30,000 evening meals each year. In addition, the pantry provides emergency take-home food supplies to qualified city residents. More than 400 families visit the pantry each month.
The organization partnered with another local food pantry, the Gray House Food Pantry, by running their food pantry. This partnership has made the Gray House's program sustainable by meeting the increased demand for food assistance.
