The Association sells, cares for, and maintains cemetery lots and graves and provides for the care and maintenance of the real estate on which those lots and graves are located at the Pride of Boston Cemetery in Woburn, Massachusetts.The cemetery is over 100 years old and almost completely filled. There was only $17 in grave sale receipts during 2019. Such sales have amounted to relatively small amounts or none ($1,623 in 2018, $17 in 2017, none in 2016, 2015, 2014 or 2013, $2,550 in 2012, none in 2011 or 2010, $170 in 2009) in recent years.The Association is charged an annual management fee of $3,000 per year by the Jewish Cemetery Association of Massachusetts (JCAM) to undertake the day to day operations of the Pride of Boston Cemetery. $3,000 was charged to that expense in both 2019 and 2018.
