The mission of the Smith Students Aid Society, Inc SSAS is to provide assistance to Smith College students in the form of grants, short term loans and emergency funds in order to enhance the quality of the students educational experience. SSAS focuses on needs not being met by Smith College financial aid.

Emergency medical/dental, housing, food, child care, winter clothes 191 grants, 59,175.64. 5. Summer Study with preference for students with credit shortage, 53 grants, 25,778.00. 6. Special opportunities for enrichment not covered by financial aid. 85 grants, 27,810.00 7. Textbooks 276 student grants, 48,295.64 8. Student Computer 1 grant 1,261.00.
