Organizations Filed Purposes:
To educate and advocate for child-protective laws and criminal justice practices based on science, fairness, and good sense, and to support those wrongfully convicted.
To provide legal and financial resources to needy and indigent inmates and parolees for filing appeals of wrongful convictions and financial assistance with in-prison minimal living expenses for basic necessities not provided within the prison system. NCRJ works with Innocent Project lawyers and groups supporting sponsored individuals to find and obtain experts in forensics to testify in court to mitigate original junk science convictions upon appeal.
To maintain and update the NCRJ website with current scientific and other information, and to expand the scope of the NCRJ database with links to other justice-type websites.
