Organizations Filed Purposes:
To recreate as historically accurately as possible the Danvers Militia and Alarm Company and colonial life of the 1770's for the education of its members and to participate in ongoing historical programs; to give the general public a concept of life in the colonial period; and in furtherance of said purposes, to accept donations, raise funds and expend the same, and to all things necessary or appropriate for the accomplishment of said purposes. To educate the public with respect to the activities of the colonial militia, and to further such purpose by participating in appropriate ceremonial events; to work for the education of the community in the true value of the same and by such means to stimulate and encourage civic pride; and in furtherance of said purposes, to accept donations, raise funds and expend the same, and to all things necessary or appropriate for the accomplishment of said purposes.
