The mission of Baystate Health Foundation is to inspire a "culture of philanthropy and encourage philanthropic relationships that will support the mission and vision of Baystate Health which is to improve the health of the people in our communities every day, with quality and compassion.
Baystate Health Foundation, Inc. provides philanthropic services for Baystate Health, Inc. and its affiliated charitable organizations. The funds generated through capital campaigns, event fundraising, annual giving and major gifts are used to support education, research, clinical and health care programs, capital needs throughout the Health System. The primary areas of support in 2018 include construction for Baystate Wing Hospital Emergency Department, cancer research and patient-centered programs and services, Baystate Children's Hospital, Baystate Wing Hospital, Baystate Franklin Medical Center, Baystate Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of Western New England,Inc., Baystate Noble Hospital Corporation and Noble Visiting Nurse Services, Inc. Special emphasis on planned giving with the intent on continued growth of the endowment pooled funds to generate income in support of programs throughout the Health System.
