COMMUNITY INVESTMENTS INCLUDE:RESPONSIVE INITIATIVES: CREATING OR SUPPORTING OPPORTUNITIES THAT HAVE ALREADY PROVEN THEY CAN CATALYZE GIRLS AND WOMEN IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS.CAPACITY BUILDING FOR NONPROFITS SERVING WOMEN AND GIRLS: STRENGTHENING AND SUSTAINING NONPROFITS THAT SERVE WOMEN AND GIRLS THROUGH TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS, AND THE PROVISION OF DATA AND RESEARCH.IMPACT TRAINING: PROVIDING WOMEN AND GIRL LEADERS THE ADVOCACY AND POLICY TOOLS THEY NEED TO DISMANTLE SYSTEMS.

ITS THREE LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICES, AS MEASURED BY EXPENSES INCLUDE:GRANTMAKING - THE ORGANIZATION STRIVES TO CREATE A CLIMATE OF ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND DOES SO BY INVESTING IN TO WOMEN AND GIRL-SERVING ORGANIZATIONS IN THE FOUR COUNTIES OF WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS.LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE FOR POLITICAL AND PUBLIC IMPACT - A NONPARTISAN, 9 MONTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES WOMEN WITH THE TOOLS, MENTORS, AND CONFIDENCE THEY NEED TO BECOME OUR REGION'S COMMUNITY LEADERS AND ELECTED OFFICIALS.YOUNG WOMEN'S INITIATIVE - A LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR YOUNG WOMEN FROM SPRINGFIELD IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS AGED 14-24 IDENTIFY BARRIERS TO THEIR OWN SUCCESS, EXPLORE SOLUTIONS, AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITY.
