To provide the residents of the Town of Watertown, Massachusetts access to cable channels that promote talents, culture, ideas and community concerns.
To provide the residents of the Town of Watertown, Massachusetts access to cable channels that promote ideas, thoughts and talent through programming that covers local events, news, sport and government. The Organization also provides educational workshops and community access to production equipment.
Provided community access cable channels and the use of video equipment to residents of the Town of Watertown, Massachusetts. WCA-TV covered 168 municipal meetings, 127 high school sporting events, 6 WHS events live and 42 weekly news programs. Volunteers and staff created 40 additional programs and Watertown High School students produced over 240 hours of local programming.
Held 3 open houses to showcase to the residents of Watertown WCA-TV services. The Organization provided the town with 9 of each of the following workshops - Field Camera Production, Digital Video Editing and Television Production.
