LOCAL 96 AND ITS SIGNATORY EMPLOYERS RELATED TO THEIR MUTUAL INTERESTS. THE FUND PROVIDES A FORUM FOR DISCUSSING AND ENGAGING IN JOINT ACTIVITIES TO EXPAND WORK OPPORTUNITIES AND PROMOTE EFFICIENCY AND ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS. THE FUND ALSO PROMOTES ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS, ENHANCES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND IMPROVES OTHER MATTERS THAT DIRECTLY AFFECT THE WORKING LIVES OF EMPLOYEES AND THE PROFITABILITY OF THE EMPLOYERS THAT ARE NOT READILY ADDRESSED THROUGH THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING PROCESS.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS ASSISTED SEVERAL SIGNATORY EMPLOYER'S REMAIN COMPETITIVE IN THEIR BIDDING AGAINST NON-UNION CONTRACTORS.
