EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND ADVOCACY ON THE HEALTH AND ECONOMIC BENEFITS OF MEDICAID TO THE STATE OF MAINE. PRODUCED RESEARCH PAPERS, HELD COMMUNITY MEETINGS, ORGANIZED COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND CONDUCTED EDUCATION AND MARKETING CAMPAIGNS TO INFORM MAINE VOTERS ON THE REFERENDUM QUESTION VOTED ON IN NOVEMBER 2017 WHICH ASKED VOTERS TO APPROVE EXPANDING MEDICAID IN THE STATE OF MAINE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE FEDERAL AFFORDABLE CARE ACT. THE QUESTION WAS APPROVED AT THE BALLOT.
