Organizations Filed Purposes: The mission of Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program is to provide hungry people with access to healthy food, work to improve the quality of their lives by partnering with others, and serve them in a manner that recognizes their dignity.

Provides food rescue, processing, and distribution for our agency's programs. Over 1.3 million pounds of food was rescued and distributed.

Food pantry - Provides grocery assistance to households in our catchment area. Over 27,000 people were served 189,000 meals worth of food from July 2019 through June 2020.

Soup kitchen - Provides a free, balanced lunch Mon - Sat to persons at risk of hunger in midcoast Maine. Over 45,000 meals were served from July 2019 through June 2020.
