THE MISSION OF THE BRICK STORE MUSEUM IS TO IGNITE PERSONAL CONNECTIONS TO HISTORY, ART, AND CULTURE THROUGH EXHIBITIONS, EDUCATION, AND PROGRAMS CELEBRATING THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE IN THE KENNEBUNKS AND ITS SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. OVER THE PAST 24 MONTHS THE MUSEUM HAS PRODUCED 24 EXHIBITIONS; NEARLY 50 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; AND WELCOMED CLOSE TO 10,0000 VISITORS THROUGH ITS DOORS.

OVER 8,000 VISITORS CAME TO THE MUSEUM IN 2019 TO DISCOVER ROTATING EXHIBITIONS, AND OVER 30 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR AGES 1 TO 101. NEW EXHIBITIONS INSTALLED IN 2019 INCLUDED "THE ART OF CUTE" A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE MUSEUM AND ILLUSTRATION INSTITUTE OF PORTLAND. THE MUSEUM CREATED PARTNERSHIPS WITH THE ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOLS FOR CURRICULUM-BASED PROGRAMMING TO BRING UNIQUE EXPERIENCES TO THEIR STUDENTS.
