With the assistance from the community and countless volunteers, the Trust has build a network of protected places. It blends land preservation, stewardship, member engagement, education of natural and historic resources into our mission.
The Trust is dedicated to preserving land for use by current and future generations, and to managing properties in a way that reflects the natural and cultural heritage of Kennebunkport.
We are forever protecting and caring for our properties with the intention of bringing each to its highest potential. This includes ensuring the health of critical habitat and natural areas, perserving spectacular scenic vistas, maintaining public recreational areas, providing access to harbor islands, and restoring our historic properties to their most important period in history. Over 2,200 acres, 15 miles of trails, a dozen islands, 7 beachfront lots, a lighthouse, historic boat house, and a headquarters full of activity, you can see what weve accomplished, thanks to our awesome members
