Organizations Filed Purposes: The Maine 4-H Foundation supports leadership, citizenship and service-learning programs for teens. Programs include Citizenship Washington Focus, National 4-H Congress, National 4-H Conference, AGRI Leadership Summit and the Heathy Living Summit. Maine 4-H is initiating a new agri-leadership team and training at the state level. In addition, Maine 4-H has a new wildlife Habitat Education Project leadership team as well. 4-H teen leaders and volunteers act as mentors throughout the state for younger members.

4-H program support dedicated to animal science education workshops, demonstrations and shows. The Maine 4H foundation works with 4-H clubs dedicated to animal science education and STEM programs. The funds support the education of approxiately 20,000 youth through 4-H and over 10,000 youth involved in our UMaine 4-H Camp and Learning Centers.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math STEM programs, leadersip, citizenship, service, healthy living and environmental education are key program areas that the Maine 4-H Foundation support annually. The University of Maine 4-H youth Development pogram engages young people in a number of engineering programs on campus science programs for children and youth and for clubs across Maine. In 2020, the Maine 4-H Foundation continued to support all four of the 4-H camp and learning centers and the Lafayette and Rawcliffe Science Engineering Center.
