Organizations Filed Purposes: MCI engages a multicultural student body with diverse abilities and interests in a rigorous and comprehensive college and career preparatory experience. In a safe and nurturing environment, students develop self-esteem, academic skills, and social responsibility to be thoughtful global citizens and lifelong learners.

Maine Central Institute offers high school and postgraduate programs in Pittsfield, Maine to Maine School Administrative District #53 (SAD #53), students attending from towns with school choice, students transferring from other districts and boarding students. Education and meals provided for approximately 400 students; housing is provided for approximately 73 students.
