Since 2002, HCI has offered Family Visitation Services in safe, supportive environments for DHHS sponsored families and for private pay clients. Children who are place in the states custody have the right to see their parents and other family members with court approval. Visits are arranged at HCI sites or in the community in six counties throughout mid-coast and central Maine.
Targeted Case Management provides services to youths between the ages of-20. Case managers provide initial and ongoing assessments, work with children, their families and support systems to facilitate access to appropriate services to meet the childs mental, physical and behavioral health needs. Funding is provided by MaineCare for MaineCare eligible families.
Since 1985, Home Base Family Services HBFS has offered intensive, short-term counseling designed to help families provide safe home environments for their children and family. Geared toward children with behavioral or emotional difficulties, this program also offers community reintegration services for children being released from residential, correctional, or foster care placement.
