VETERANS ORGANIZATION PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS AND THE COMMUNITY
INCOME FROM GAMING ALLOWED THE COLE POST #19 CONTINUE IT'S MISSION TO HELP COUNCIL, SUPPORT LOCAL VETERANS WITH THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS AND DIRECT THEM TO OTHER AGENCIES WHEN NECESSAR. WE PROVIDE VETERANS WITH EMERGENCY FUNDING SUCH AS FUELOIL, CAR REPAIRS AND RENT WHEN NEEDED. THE POST CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WITH DONATIONS TO NON-PROFITS, SCHOOLS AND YOUTH PROGRAMS. WE AGAIN LEAD THE STATE OF MAINE IN ORGANIZING THE US CONSTITUTION ORATORY CONTEST LOCALLY AND PROVIDE A $1000 SCHOLARSHIP TO THE LOCAL WINNER.
