THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM AT CROSSROADS IS THAT SOME WOMEN NEED MORE STRUCTURE AND SUPPORT TO ATTAIN ABSTINENCE FROM ALCOHOL AND DRUGS THAN IS AVAILABLE IN THEIR CURRENT SITUATION. WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY CAN PRACTICE THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO REMAIN ALCOHOL AND DRUG FREE AND IMPROVING PARENTING. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES TREATMENT SERVICES, INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING, CASE MANAGEMENT AND ASSISTANCE, PARENTING AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES AND ASSISTANCE, AND FAMILY SUPPORT.

CROSSROADS FOR WOMEN, INC'S BACK COVE IS AN 18-BED RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM SERVING AS A PREMIER RECOVERY DESTINATION FOR WOMEN FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, OFFERING HOLISTIC TREATMENT IN A BEAUTIFUL MAINE SETTING FOR ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUG ADDICTION TREATMENT. IN ADDITION TO CUTTING EDGE GENDER-RESPONSIVE ADDICTION AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH TREATMENT, OUR HOLISTIC APPROACH INCLUDES YOGA, EQUINE THERAPY, ACUPUNCTURE, AND OTHER COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES. THIS 30 DAY PRIMARY TREATMENT PROGRAM IS IDEAL FOR WOMEN WHO SEEK A SERENE SPOT IN WHICH TO GET AWAY FOR A SHORT TIME AND START THEIR ROAD TO RECOVERY.
