We conserve land where natural resources, scenic vistas and historical significance offer unique value to our community.
Land Stewardship - We have responsibility for conserving over 1,600 acres of land in Scarborough. We monitor each property for natural or unnatural changes and manage the land for recreational, scenic, or ecological values.
OTHER PROGRAM EXPENSES
Education, Outreach, Community Engagement - SLT held more than 20 events to bring the public to our conservation land or to educate them about the value of conservation. We spoke for at least three audiences about our work. A committee is currently exploring the feasibility of a more comprehensive and formal education program.
