Organizations Filed Purposes: The mission of the SRLT is to recognize and conserve the rich wild and working landscape of Central Maine's Sebasticook River watershed through conservation, stewardship and education. Our focal programs are land conservation for community benefit; stewardship of approximately 2000 acres of public-access lands for wildlife habitat, hiking, hunting, fishing and nature enjoyment; restoration of native fish to the watershed; and community outreach and education to inspire participation and support.

LAND STEWARDSHIP: The SRLT continued to care for, manage, restore, and where appropriate, support public access on our 2,000 acres of community lands, and steward conservation restrictions on 2,000 acres of conservation easements.

HABITAT RESTORATION. SRLT continued its efforts in support of fisheries and riverine restoration in the watershed, including the Alewife Restoration Initiative at China Lake Outlet Stream and the Lower Sebasticook Conservation Initiative in the Lower Sebasticook River.

OUTREACH & EDUCATION. The SRLT published educational articles and newsletters, and offered virtual educational and recreational events open to all. It updated and maintained its web site to raise awareness of the Sebasticook River watershed.
